About Us

Dr. Min Seong Kim - known to his patients as Dr. Min - brings a unique blend of clinical precision and heartfelt connection to each appointment. Born in Seoul, South Korea, Dr. Min’s path to dentistry began on the ice rink, where his hockey coach and mentor first inspired his career path. That early influence, combined with his passion for science and service, still shapes his dedication to patient care today.

After moving to North America as a young student-athlete, Dr. Min completed his undergraduate studies in Biology at Stonehill College and went on to earn his DMD from the prestigious University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. He then served in the Republic of Korea Army with the United Nations Mission in South Sudan, where his experience in peacekeeping operations further deepened his values of empathy, discipline, and resilience. He later pursued advanced education in general dentistry at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry.

Dr. Min believes that dentistry should serve both the tooth and the person. He calls his care philosophy “Heart to Teeth” (H2T) - a sincere, patient-first approach that honors not only physical health but also emotional trust. He continues to invest in education through programs like the Kois Center (2024-2026) and holds certifications in advanced implant surgery, soft tissue management, Botox and dermal fillers, and aesthetic dentistry techniques. He is also a proud member of the Korean American Dental Association.

Known for his attention to detail and gentle communication, Dr. Min is committed to ending negative dental experiences. Whether treating emergency situations or helping patients plan long-term preventive care, he ensures that each visit is thorough, transparent, and respectful of your goals and comfort.

Outside the office, Dr. Min stays active with hockey, golf, and a regular fitness routine. He’s also passionate about giving back, supporting both local and international volunteer efforts whenever possible.
